Past Tournaments

The Eastern region kicked off tournament season two weeks ago with Clemson hosting their Open, and Auburn hosting their Fall Brall last weekend. We hope to get reports from those tournaments this upcoming week. Summer ended abruptly and we were not prepared on ncwsa.com for the mad dash into the collegiate water ski season!

Upcoming Tournaments

Wow lots of movement this week with weather in the Midwest causing tournament site havoc. The Mo State Fall Showdown has been moved back a week and replace the Mizzou tournament, the Hawkeye Skifest has been relocated to Iowa State’s home site of Dream Lakes and Iowa State will now host Hawkeye Skifest. Yes, you read that right, Iowa State is hosting Hawkeye Skifest, it’s a weird world this weekend. In the Midwest’s Great Lakes Conference, Miami will be hosting the Southern Ohio Challenge this weekend.

In the South Central, teams are ready to go Hog Wild at Bullneck Lake in Arkansas with University of Arkansas hosting.

I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
