Annual Awards Nominations Now Open

2022 NCWSA Awards – Call for Nominations!

The nomination deadline is November 7th!

The NCWSA has five annual awards – team of the year, male & female outstanding leader of the year, and male & female athlete of the year. We suggest writing all nominations in an external document creator (Google Docs, Word, etc) and then submitting to the nomination form that follows below after the description for each of the awards.

Team of the Year

This award is not limited to just the teams who have won championships. The recipient of this award could be a team who has been amazing on the water and/or off the water. It could be a team who has made an impression on the growth of NCWSA as a whole. Please write out the reason for your nomination as to why you believe your nominee should be Team of the Year!

Outstanding Leader of the Year

This award is to recognize a skier who has shown exemplary leadership on and off the water at the team, region, and/or national level of the NCWSA. Examples include but are not limited to: general leadership and organization, motivational skills, team building, fundraising, tournament hosting, and other team or tournament operations.

Athlete of the Year

A candidate should have achieved outstanding success on the water in fall season of 2021. Specific examples of potential nominees include athletes that have completed extraordinary feats such as breaking regional or national records. While scores should be outstanding for every nominee, other areas beyond the scorebooks can help create a well-rounded candidate.

Time to Nominate!

Nomination deadline is November 7th!
