The end of the semester calls for many things in the collegiate water skiing world. The student-athletes that compete in the NCWSA are just that, students. Many of them have a stress filled finals week, then leave for winter break. However, some teams come together one last time after finals to celebrate the end of their terms, and the holiday season.
Schools have different traditions, such as the University of Louisiana-Lafayette’s holiday gumbo, or the University of Cincinnati’s Ugly Sweater Party. Wherever water ski teams are located, they have a habit of finding ways to spread cheer during the holiday season.
