Rollins College Skiers Podium at 2018 Moomba Masters

Rollins Skiers Erika Lang & Dorien Llewellyn Podium at Moomba Masters

The 2017 NCWSA Nationals trick event champions from Rollins College went down under to Melbourne, Australia to compete in the 2018 Moomba Masters this past weekend. Erika Lang, our current NCWSA Women’s Trick Record Holder placed first in the women’s trick event! Her Rollins College teammate Dorien Llewellyn, in his first ever Moomba Masters, placed second in the men’s trick event!

What a week! To stand next to two world champions with a second place in tricks at my first @moombamasters was amazing! Missing out on 1st and the ticket to the Masters by only a couple points was heart wrenching but I’m just going to work even harder from here on out! See you next year Moomba!! I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
