Ohio State Waterski Kickin’ it at Alumni Tournament
On September 1st, The Ohio State Waterski Team hosted their 5th annual Alumni and Friends Tournament and fundraiser. It was a smashing success! Not only did a bunch of returning skiers putting up huge scores, but many new skiers ran their first passes on the slalom course and landed their first jumps!
In addition to the skiing, the silent auction had some amazing items and raised a ton of funds for the team! A huge, massive thank you goes out to the Cyphers and Dammeyer families for hosting us, we could not have done it without them. The team is ecstatic about the opportunities that Alumni gave us and can’t wait to show our stuff at Van Wert!

I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
