It’s happening! This week, 24 teams from across the nation will gather in Rio Linda, CA at Bell Acqua Lakes for the Syndicate Skis 2019 Collegiate Nationals.

An exciting time for all making the trek out to California. As each team aims to strike gold, make sure you are snappin’ and postin’ updates on your progress.

Road to Nationals

  • #BellAcquaorBust is our official Road to Nationals hashtag – be sure to use it and tag @TheNCWSA along the journey
  • Don’t forget to fill out your Team Bios, link should be in the captain’s email!
    • Last year, UCLA went all in and had the best-themed bio centered around Guy Fierei’s 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle, hair bleach yellow, low miles, cold AC. $17,000 OBO
  • Have some fun on the road! Stop by a ski school, show the number of states your team swerved through or jumped over, wave your school flag, and make sure every airport and gas station in the country knows we’re coming.

On the Dock

SDSU with the Spirit Award basics – Posters, Flags, Tutus and Body Paing
  • Share progress, PBs, awards, and updates with your supporters! (Especially if they helped fund your trip!)
  • Be sure to pass along the link to the Tournament Webcast for all those unable to make it to the shores of Bell Acqua.
  • Head to the announcing tower for interviews to be featured on webcast! Our announcers always appreciate the help, we love the color commentary from the athletes, and then you cay say hi to your mom on camera; well someone else will be on camera but your voice will be speaking!
  • In the fight for the coveted HO Spirit Award, tag @thencwsa and use #ncwsaSpirit in all of your posts for us to evaluate what team is truly filled with the loudest, most represented, spunkiest spirited skiers in all the land!
  • Share your own mini-interviews with your skiers on the dock or as they exit the water.
