It’s Back!

HO Sports is bringing back the fun and wants every collegiate team to put their fun on display in the HO Sports #MostFunWins Collegiate Video Contest!

COLLEGIATE “MOST FUN WINS” VIDEO CONTEST

FILM YOUR COLLEGIATE WATER SKI TEAM THROUGH THE 2019 SEASON, CREATE A VIDEO (2 TO 5 MINUTES IN LENGTH), WIN HO/SYNDICATE PRIZES!

Capture the action and lifestyle of your team for your chance at winning HO/Syndicate gear. From recruiting to practice, from parties to tournaments, from Spring Break to Nationals, and everything in between. You don’t have to be a professional videographer, just get in there and capture the moments! We want to see all the fun you have with your collegiate water ski team. Not only will the video make for great memories, but you could win stuff in the process!

How to Enter

  • Video submissions will be accepted November 2nd through December 2nd 2019.
  • Entrants may only submit their original works of the 2019 collegiate water ski season. Multiple entries per team are permitted, but a team effort is encouraged.
  • After uploading videos to YouTube, contestants must email college@hosports.com to finalize contest submission with the following info: Name, Team, Contact Info, Video Link.

Judging

The video that shows the best water ski spirit wins! Videos will be judged based on creativity, audience feedback, school spirit, skiing footage, and storytelling. #MostFunWins

Winning videos will be announced on December 15, 2019 and will be featured on the HO Skis YouTube page, website, and social media sites.

Winners will be notified by e-mail.

  • Grand Prize Winner:

    • HO/Syndicate swag package
    • $1000 value
  • Runner Up:
    • HO/Syndicate swag pack
    • $300 value

All submitted videos are subject to approval and may not be accepted if they are found to be offensive or in violation of copyright. This includes the use of copyrighted music, digital, movie, or printed works.

HO Sports reserves the right to use submitted videos on the HO Sports website and in other promotions, including, but not limited to the HO Skis channel on YouTube and Vimeo.

Michigan State won the 2018 contest! Here is their winning video along with the other submissions. Please note the time window for 2019 videos is now 2-5 minutes, but the 2018 contest pushed for longer videos with a cap at 5 minutes.

Adam Koehler

I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
