JAWS Lake to Host 2020 NCWSA All-Stars & Team Trials

JAWS Water Ski Lake in Jacksonville, Illinois won the bid to be the host of the 2020 NCWSA All-Stars & Team Trials tournament.

JAWS is the home site of the Leutz family. Savannah Leutz is currently co-chair of our NCWSA Awards Committee and is an alumna of University of Illinois, and her brother Ben Leutz is a current NCWSA skier at the University of Alabama.

The team trials will help determine the Team USA skiers for the 2020 World University Championships. An announcement later in the year will provide rules and registration for team trials.

The 2020 NCWSA All-Stars & Team Trials tournament will be held at JAWS Water Ski Lake May 15-17, 2020 May 29-31, 2020.

The new 2020 NCWSA All-Stars dates were voted on and certified at the 2019 NCWSA Nationals board meeting. The date change occurred do to team trials conflicts with other tournaments.

I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
