2022 Awarded to Minsk, Belarus

On December 2, 2019 the Championships Department at the International University Sports Federation (FISU) announced that the FISU Executive Committee has attributed the 2022 FISU Waterski and Wakeboard Championships to the city of Minsk, Belarus.

The event is officially rewarded to the Belarus Republican Center of Physical Education and Sports for Pupils and Students – the governing body of university sports in that country. However, it will be hosted by an Organizing Committee that includes the NUSF, the City of Minsk, and the Belarus Waterski and Wakeboard Federation, with support of the IWWF World University Commission.

Official Dates and times for 2022 will be set by the Organizing Committee as soon as possible. The search is now underway to find hosts for both the 2024 and 2026 events. Anyone interested should contact Phil Chase, Chairman of the IWWF World University Commission, as soon as possible.
