Call for Committee Chair Applications

2022 NCWSA Committee Chairs – Call for Applications

The NCWSA is seeking applications from individuals interested in filling any of the four open committee chair positions. All 2022 committee chair appointments must apply alongside new applicants before the March 23rd deadline.

Each committee chair is appointed to a one year term by the NCWSA National Chairperson.

Each committee chair leads a committee (described at the end of this post) containing representatives from each region as well as one AAC member. Should the committee be required to officially vote on a matter, the chair orchestrates the vote and presents the results to the NCWSA Chairperson or Board of Directors, but does not get a vote (except to break a tie) unless the chair is also a representative on the committee.

Committee chairs are provided a small travel stipend to help offset travel costs and encourage participation at the annual January NCWSA Board of Directors meeting. The awards chair is also provided a small travel stipend to All-Stars and Nationals as they are the primary coordinator for event awards at the two National level NCWSA events.
