2018 NCWSA Awards – Call for Nominations!

It’s that time of year, ? ?, the collegiate water ski season is over!

With fresh memories of a great season dancing in our heads, we are opening our nominations for our annual NCWSA awards. Please submit your nominations by November 2, 2018 at 11:59pm PDT.

Team of the Year

Sometimes teams of the year win championships, but not always. The team could have been amazing on the water, or amazing off the water, or just that team that everyone wants to be around and be like. You tell us in your nomination why you believe your nominee should be Team of the Year!

Male & Female Outstanding Leader of the Year

This award is to recognize a skier who has shown exemplary leadership on and off the water at the team, region, and/or national level of the NCWSA. Examples include but are not limited to general leadership and organization, motivational skills, team building, fundraising, tournament hosting, and other team or tournament operations.

Male & Female Athlete of the Year

An ideal candidate will have achieved success on the water in both the spring and fall seasons of 2018. Other considerations are for regional & national records broken.

Adam Koehler

I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
