Texas Water Ski Hosts Successful Alumni Weekend
On Friday, June 16th through Sunday, June 18th of 2017 the Texas Water Ski Team (Facebook – Instagram) hosted a fun-filled skiing weekend for their alumni. It was held at their practice lake, lake Frame Switch, in Hutto, Texas. Both current and former team members spent the day on the lake doing everything from bare-footing to wake surfing, and swapping stories from their days on the team. There was a cookout and campout Saturday evening, as well as a shotski raffle prize and the chance to officially name the team’s boat!
The current team loved meeting and getting to know former team members. Thanks to all who made this weekend a success, and we hope to see even more alumni out next summer!

Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Illinois Chicago
I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
