All four regions are in action this weekend for the respective collegiate regional tournaments! So let’s get to the pre-Regionals rankings!

Breakdown

  • Top 5 stays the same with Alabama retaining the #1 spot!
  • FSC and Rollins still have not skied a collegiate tournament, so they remain unranked.
  • The Midwestern and the South Central are tied for the most teams in the top ten with three each.
    • The highest ranking Midwest team is the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse Water Ski Team at seventh.
    • The highest ranking South Central team is the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Water Ski Team at second.

Predictions

  • Florida Southern College & Rollins College still haven’t skied in a tournament, but they are active this weekend at Eastern Regionals! We expect them to shake up our top 5 when we get to our pre-Nationals rankings!

I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
