The NCWSA Board of Directors met during the Connelly Skis 2017 NCWSA Nationals and approved a revision to the definition of a trick ski in the NCWSA Tournament Rulebook. The revised rule strikes the 46″ length maximum, and updates the width ratio from 30% to 35%.
11.3 A trick ski is defined as having no molded or attached fins with a front binder that is within 9.9 degrees (11 percent) of parallel with the centerline (long) axis of the ski. The width of the ski may not exceed 35% of the length.
The new rule as written above is effective immediately.
