10 – Brandon Schipper of ULM attempts a 2-trick ski flip at the SCR Polar Bear Classic in March.
9 – Ben Leutz of University of Alabama flew 176ft through the skies of San Marcos River Ranch at the 2018 Connelly National Collegiate Water Ski Championships, placing 4th in D1 Men’s jump.
8 – The strongest ladies of 2018 shine on stage at the Connelly National Collegiate Waterski Championship, receiving their D1 awards.
7 – Our Boy Sammy-G won Athlete of the Year in his 4th year at the University of Alabama. The charismatic skier had a killer 2017 season, setting the new SAC regional jump record, winning for 2nd place at Nationals.
6 – Snatching the crown for their 29th time in tournament history, University of Louisiana – Monroe leaped onto the stage after a close win over ULL.
5 – Impressing HO judges in this year’s Spirit Award Competition, Erin Vespestad flawlessly mirrored this banners, after winning the coveted Spirit Award in 2017 with Iowa State University. #MostFunWins
4 – Marquette University went full send at Midwest Regionals (PITS), in hopes of qualifying for the 40th annual Connelly Collegiate National Championship. By Monday, scores were announced for the 21 teams with a bid, and 3 wild cards drawn. The rest were wiped out. #CrashingIntoMonday
3 – The Moc’s team, and their boat looks great, but have you seen the new Florida Southern College webpage? Make one for your team here.
2 – As 24 teams (+Chico) made their way down to San Marcos, Texas, it was hard to miss the tell-tale signs of collegiate skiers. The Clemson University team was spotted waiting for a ride at the Austin airport.
1 – Knees, Trees, Freeze – Sara Nicely, Missouri State Alumni, thought about hitting the jump…mid-winter. Lake of Dreams may have left her merely dreaming. PC: @Skiinix
