A little over a week ago, Auburn University hosted the first collegiate tournament of the 2017 fall season! Auburn hosted the tournament on Divorce Lake in Valley, Alabama and four teams from the Eastern Region competed in the tournament – Lander University, Clemson University, the University of Alabama, and the host team Auburn University.
From the looks of it, it was a sun-kissed tournament that had some great skiing to kick off our collegiate season. Alabama swept the podium in five of six individual events! The hold out spot being men’s slalom with James Webber of Clemson getting 1 buoy at 38′ off to take third in the event.
After all the skiing was done, the University of Alabama sat atop the team rankings to take home the first tournament win of the 2017 season! For complete results, you can view the scorebook.
