The best way to spread holiday cheer is skiing loud for all to hear:
Let’s be real- Hanuskkiah and Chriskimas are the best holidays of the year, because instead of you spending 6 months pay on new ski equipment, your parents might buy it for you. Some people ski through the holiday season, but the majority of us end up testing out our new trick ski on the carpet, or strapped into a slalom ski in bed. Here’s how our teams celebrated.
Texas-AMU kicked of the season with Friendsgiving
Skisons greetings from Marquette, Auburn, Michigan State and Cajun ski
Jackson Haley of UC- Davis “ Swapped the sleigh and reindeer for a boat and a ski”
Ohio teams U Cincinnati and U Dayton took a polar plunge
Abbi Grathwohl of Alabama prefers elf on a ski to elf on a shelf
Western Michigan went South for warmer water and lots of skiing in a Alabama training trip
San Diego State University thought the water was too cold, so they found some frozen stuff and ran some S’s on the ice
UW-La Crosse volunteered at an Ugly Sweater 5k
Other teams dressed up in ugly sweaters for no reason at all
(U Michigan)
(Iowa State- Amber Aho)
(U Arkansas)
(Clemson)
(UW-Eau Claire)
Parading around in full holiday spirit
Texas-AMU participated in the Bryan College Station Christmas Parade
Stout marched with the Polar Plunge Special Olympics team in their holiday parade
We all have a lot to be grateful for: a great 2017 fall skison, a growing program, and strong teams. Happy Holidays to all!
