Grow The Sport – What Is Stopping Us?

The community of water ski is one of our favorite aspects of this sport – from the camaraderie within each region to the off-the-water friendships. Our hope is that everyone willing to hang on and hit-it can experience the wonderful world of collegiate water skiing.

NCWSA wants to grow the sport and share #lifeonthewater with as many people as we can. We have a huge network of skiers from across the country and around the world connected through collegiate water ski. We wish to grow more, and are seeking ways we can bring new athletes into the program. Where and how we recruit, as well as how we conduct our teams and events will unlock potential to share the shred with a larger audience.

To start, we would like to assess any barriers to growth. As we work to improve access to our programs, please help us identify anything that may prevent participation. This could be physical adjustments to make tournaments more adaptive-friendly, or cultural elements to make teams more welcoming. We have the strength of an amazing network, and opportunity in the more recent recognition of watersports through increased technology to share our sport.

Please respond to this survey to share your experience, and help us improve!

  • Responses will be collected through April 30th, 2021.

If you would like to join a committee for sustainable and inclusive growth, to promote participation through increasing access to our sport, please contact:
