A call to arms to the Collegiate Waterski community: Zack Worden needs our help
Zack Worden had a terrible jump crash that broke his back, sternum, and numerous serious injuries that left him in the hospital unsure if he’d regain his ability to walk. Luckily his spinal cord was somehow undamaged, and with surgeries is looking towards recovery.
Unfortunately, Zack was between health insurance coverages at the time of the injury. The mountain of bills he faces through his surgeries and recovery will be daunting.
We Love College Waterski created the Fly For Zack fundraiser to have us all boosting jumps, spirits, and funds for Zack.
We share with you a Jump-a-thon pledge platform. You can pledge any amount that you wish towards our Nationals jumpers! Here, your donation will match the feet-flown at the Syndicate 2021 National Collegiate Water Ski Championships.
After the conclusion of Collegiate Nationals, your jumpers’ results will be sent to you, along with instructions on how to donate.
Thank you so much for everyone’s support.
Remember to FLY FOR ZACK!
Additionally, you can purchase #FlyForZack merch from Militia Clothing, or Donate directly to his recovery.
The design features Zack’s legendary 195 foot record cut and jump from the 2011 NCWSA Nationals at Bennetts. If you spread the word and get your own shirts, it would contribute to the relief of a guy who has given so much to so many in the waterski community, especially the NCWSA, and Specifically Midwest, where he’s volunteered as pro-coach at ~9 Midwest Winter Conferences
