The NCWSA Annual Awards are awarded at the USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Annual Banquet each January. For further information on this selection, see NCWSA Annual Awards Policies and Procedures (pdf).

Outstanding Leader of the Year

This award goes to one male and one female winner. The award recognizes a skier who has shown exemplary leadership on and off the water at the team, region, and/or national level of the NCWSA.

Athlete of the Year

This award goes to one male and one female winner. This awards goes to those winning athletes were the cream of the crop in the NCWSA and performed awe inspiring feats on the water throughout the year. Additionally, many of the skiers were active leaders and coaches of their respective water ski team and teammates.

Team of the Year

An NCWSA team has many forms. Some embody #NCWSAspirit for the entirety of every collegiate season, some are so tight-knit that they become family for the rest of their lives, and some dominate on the water to win championships. Every year one team is rewarded with the title Team of the Year and that team often embodies what all other NCWSA teams could aspire to be.
