2025 NCWSA Awards – Call for Nominations! – National Collegiate Water Ski Association

Nominations for the 2025 NCWSA Annual Awards are open! Please take a moment to nominate those individuals and teams that you think should be recognized. Please include their name and a short paragraph on why they should be recognized.

The nomination deadline is October 26th!

The NCWSA now has six annual awards – volunteer of the year, team of the year, male & female outstanding leader of the year, and male & female athlete of the year. Check out last year’s nominations for inspiration, and prep your submission!

Volunteer of the Year

This year we have included a new award: Volunteer of the Year! This award recognizes any volunteer who has best supported the NCWSA.

Team of the Year

This award is not limited to just the teams who have won championships. The recipient of this award could be a team who has been amazing on the water and/or off the water. It could be a team who has made an impression on the growth of NCWSA as a whole. Please write out the reason for your nomination as to why you believe your nominee should be Team of the Year!

Outstanding Leader of the Year

This award is to recognize a skier who has shown exemplary leadership on and off the water at the team, region, and/or national level of the NCWSA. Examples include but are not limited to: general leadership and organization, motivational skills, team building, fundraising, tournament hosting, and other team or tournament operations.

Athlete of the Year

A candidate should have achieved outstanding success on the water in the collegiate 2024 season. Specific examples of potential nominees include athletes who have completed extraordinary feats such as breaking regional or national records. While scores should be outstanding for every nominee, other areas beyond the scorebooks can help create a well-rounded candidate.
